Connect Email
Everyone on the team who has signed in can get alerts by email.
Connecting it
- Invite the person under Team on the Projects screen. Someone already on another project of yours joins right away, with no second email.
- Once they sign in, their address shows up as an Email channel in Alerts.
- Press the gear on the row to choose which alerts reach it.
What the gear controls
- Website is down
- On by default. A message when a check fails 3 times in a row, and another when it recovers.
- Error logs
- Off, Every new error, or Only repeating errors within a window of 1 to 120 minutes.
- Follow-up in 15 minutes
- A second message 15 minutes into an incident: recovered or still down. Paid plans.
Checking it worked
Press Send test on the row. A failed delivery names the reason right there. Sent but not arriving? Check spam.
